The Château de Cheverny will reopen on 19 May
After many months of closure, the Château de Cheverny and its 6 gardens will finally reopen on May 19th. On the occasion of this reopening, several surprises are being prepared.
The castel which inspired Hergé to create Moulinsart, had been closed for more than six months, like all cultural places in France due to health restrictions. The Château de Cheverny had moreover been unable to celebrate Easter and let visitors enjoy its famous tulip bed.
Today, it is time for good news.
To celebrate it, the Château de Cheverny is offering a new feature: the Grandparents Pack. Thus, grandparents who come accompanied by two of their grandchildren will benefit from free access to all activities for one of the two children.
"With the Covid crisis, many seniors have been looking after the younger ones. We think that this intergenerational link should be extended. And it is also our way of thanking them for their investment during these long months!", explains the Marquise de Vibraye.
As part of this offer, the admission to the castle, the exhibition Les Secrets de Moulinsart, the ride in boats and electric cars to discover the forest part of the park will be free for children under 15 years.
