Pourquoi et comment êtes-vous devenus fan de Tintin ?

My local library which we visited often when I was little ( loved the mystery of not knowing what I would discover ) and just came across The Castafiore Emerald.. I think I read the entire story there and then ( probably about 8 years old ) my love started there and then and hasn't disappated in just under 50 years !

Personnellement, c’est en lisant L’Île noire à 8 ans que j’ai été happé par l’univers.

my mum showed me my first tintin comic when i was four months old. even though i can't remember it i like thinking about how my mum introduced me to tintin and i am forever greatful and a VERY VERY big fan ;). the book she showed me was the black island

Tintin les cigares du Pharaon fut ma première BD à l'âge de 6 ans, cette BD facilita l'apprentissage de la lecture et fut la 1ère BD d'une très longue collection. Bien plus âgée je suis tombée dans la collection des figurines, le format 15 cm est pour moi exceptionnel, j'aimerai qu'il y ait bien plus de personnage.

so.....after my sister went to Thailand, to her husband studying Pilot. she returned with an set of tintin books, just for me. At first i haven't even heard of the Tintin, let alone read it. burt after reading the first book in the set, "tintin in america, i immediately fell in love, that is the way.

My mother and father rented our house to an American family while we went on holidays for a couple of months to the seaside in Buenos Aires. I must have been no more than 10 or 11 years old. As we came back, this family's kids had left some toys and the album "The Crab with the Golden Claws" which had most of its pages torn off by the middle. Alas, the first 3 or 4 pages were still standing whole, and I remember being very frustrated, even at that age, that the story had captivated me… voir la suite

je suis fan de tintin depuis toujours a ce que je me rappelle :), mon premier tintin et "coke en stock", je ne savait pas lire je l'avais déjà et je dévorer les images qui me faisait voyager et m'évader de mauvais moment d'enfance à l'école , mon réveil c'était un réveil mécanique tintin beige avec la tête de milou qui bouge que j'ai toujours ;), je pense que comme j'avais une maman aimait déjà et qui avait 2 tintin dont j'en ai hériter… voir la suite

I heard about Tintin on a podcast and thought he was a bear! Then I watched Tintin in America and started to like him.

In 1977 i found Tintin and snowy at the library...50 years later , he is still a huge part of me. I swear , most of the travelling/adventures i have been on, was because of these amazing stories .
thank you for all the adventures!!! still love that you find out he's been to the moon in Cigars of the Pharaoh in Patrash Pashas humble tent...20 years before Destination Moon....tintin went to the moon in the 1930's......COOL!!!!!!

I captured Tintin is the film with my eyes that's fascinating me! I saw the Tintin in the cartoon since I was a kid! My childhood memories never disappeared every years, CONGRATS TINTIN!!!🎉 I'm a big fan of you!

His cute face, and the amazing cartoon books upon his adventures, made me his fan :)
