Quels sont vos personnages préférés et pourquoi ?

I like Allan Thompson’s design, his leadership capabilities(When the Good Guy’s plotarmor doesn’t get in the way), the quiet tragedy that Allan could have earned the title of Captain of the Karaboudjan and shared a unbreakable bond with Captain Haddock had Allan’s penchant for criminality not gotten in the way and Rastapopoulos possibly steering him down that direction to begin with.

The one character i didn’t expect to like as much as i did is Tom’s portrayal in Tintin 2011.
He looks like your typical thug, got that physique like one too, but when you actually watch the movie and pay attention, Tom is just a human-sized musclepup, that guy got more nerves than muscles.
He looks more ready to just break down than actually fight anyone.
Just hide behind Allan and let him do all the talking(and fighting).
Another thing i really like about Tom in this is the really small details that are really hard to catch unless you really pay attention.
Like how Tom actually has a broken nose, something you can only catch in that one shot early on in Snowy’s chase scene and even then, your brain will most likely see it as his head being on an certain angle despite being pretty close to looking straight at the audience.
I know for a fact I didn’t know Tom had a broken nose in the movie until i got hold of the Tintin 2011 Artbook where it shows that Tom, infact, Has a broken nose.
If you really pay attention to the movie you can actually see that Tom also has a scar over his left cheek near his eye which you can only catch before Sakharine hooks him in with his cane.
What i didn’t know until i got hold of the Artbook is that Tom actually has a scar over the bridge of his nose that leads to a gap before continuing with the cheek.
Tom is by no means an important character. And yet, i can’t help but feel everyone who worked on him for the movie really wanted to elevate him and make him more than just a one-off in a Album.
And that alone i can’t help but immensely respect.

🧭 Le capitaine Haddock
Sans doute le plus humain du lot. Impulsif, colérique, mais profondément loyal. Et que dire de son vocabulaire d’insultes ("bachibouzouk", "ectoplasme") ? Inimitable et souvent hilarant.

🐶 Milou
Compagnon fidèle et rusé, parfois sarcastique, il représente une sorte de conscience cachée de Tintin. Et il a souvent sauvé la mise plus d’une fois !

🎤 La Castafiore
La diva insupportable… mais tellement drôle. Elle incarne à merveille le comique de situation dans Les Bijoux de la Castafiore, où tout le monde s’imagine un drame… qui n’arrive jamais.

👨‍🔬 Tournesol
Le savant distrait par excellence. À la fois génie et source d’ennuis, il apporte une touche de tendresse, de maladresse… et parfois de haute technologie (la fusée lunaire, c’est lui !).

Mais qu’est-ce que ?! Personne ne parle de Tchang ici… ?? 😁 Celui pour qui l’amitié est à l’épreuve même de l’abandon, du froid, de la faim et de la montagne ! ✨🏔️

Et puis Tchang est le symbole même de cette sorte d’amitié qui mêle fiction et réalité…
La rencontre réelle d’abord entre Tchang et Hergé pour l’élaboration du « Lotus Bleu » de 1934 à 1935 puis la rencontre fictive (mais non moins réelle dans un monde Tintinesque) entre Tchang et Tintin, au sein même de l’album et sur les rives du YangTse, un jour de fortes crues et d’inondations… Mémorable !
