The experience
Comprising six themes, including a prologue and an epilogue, "Tintin, The Immersive Adventure" invites visitors to dive into Tintin's universe through these major themes:
- Prologue, the genesis of Tintin: The experience begins by showcasing the famous covers of Tintin’s albums, which come to life before the visitor's eyes. The evolution of the graphic style is displayed, from the black and white of Tintin in the Land of the Soviets to the vibrant colours of The Shooting Star.
- Tintin, great reporter: Through his adventures, Tintin takes visitors on a captivating journey, travelling thousands of miles using various modes of transportation: land, air, sea and even underwater, including the famous shark-shaped bathyscaphe.
- Captain Haddock and the close protection team: What would Tintin be without his ever-present companions? Snowy, Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus and the bumbling detectives Thomson and Thompson, among others, will be part of the experience. This eclectic group is often found at Marlinspike Hall, the sanctuary of Tintin’s adventures, where the enchanting melodies of Bianca Castafiore resonate.
- The big villains: Throughout his adventures, Tintin also faces unscrupulous characters such as the formidable Rastapopoulos, the treacherous, the impressive Yeti, the menacing pirate Red Rackham and the frightening mummy Rascar Capac. Their schemes plunge visitors into mind-bending trials: strange creatures in Cigars of the Pharaoh, illusions related to black gold and even towering mushrooms in The Shooting Star.
- Toward adventure and beyond: Tintin and his companions lead visitors through thrilling escapades: a space journey to the Moon, confrontations aboard Flight 714 and the ship The Unicorn, an adventure in the Picaros jungle and a rescue mission in Tibet.
- Epilogue: The experience concludes with the famous blue cover pages of "Tintin, The Immersive Adventure" albums, before revealing Hergé drawing his beloved character one last time.
