Russia is the first place that Tintin visits during his long and fruitful career. The little reporter begins his adventures in Le Petit Vingtième, the weekly youth supplement for the Brussels daily newspaper Le Vingtième Siècle. At the Gare du Nord railway station in Brussels, Tintin gets on a train, the destination of which is printed on a sign:'Moscow, via Berlin'.
