Colour Facsimile of Tintin and the Picaros

Publication of the last colour facsimile.
This is the last completed Tintin adventure. The next adventure, Tintin and Alph-Art, is, and always will remain, unfinished.
Tintin and the Picaros sees Tintin return to San Theodoros, a small South American republic he had visited in The Broken Ear. General Alcazar is now trying to overthrow his arch enemy General Tapioca.
Original pencil drawings are reproduced on the end papers of this edition.
The original edition of Tintin and the Picaros has a yellow hard cover, the same as Flight 714. It seems strange that they are considered facsimiles!
"Originally, they were real facsimiles, but Mr. Etienne Pollet has already commented on this subject a few times. It would have been a shame, after having published works in the vein of a facsimile in keeping with the first colour editions, to deprive the people, used to this fancy collection, of the last two or three books on the basis that they were first published with a hardcover."(source: Blog Casterman)
