Musée du cinquantenaire
As from October 1, 2008, the Museum of Art and History will re-open its section dedicated to the pre-Colombian America. In this part of the museum, the Tintin fans will be able to see again the art objects from the pre-Colombian civilizations that have inspired Hergé such as the statue of The Broken Ear.
This museum has an important collection of art objects from different civilizations from all over the world. It offers an overview of the history of mankind in the five continents (with the exclusion of Black Africa) from prehistoric times until today.
