We wish you merry Christmas and happy New Year
This year, the National Security Council promised a not-so festive Christmas here in Belgium, yet that has not stopped the Christmas spirit from thriving! Everyone in their own way will celebrate while keeping themselves and their loved ones safe.
Streets are lit up, rooms are decorated with Christmas trees, It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas whistles through the air... it cannot be denied, the holiday season is upon us!
The Grand-Place Christmas tree
The Grand Place in Brussels shines brightly throughout the year but is even more beautiful during the holiday season, with its 18 metre Christmas tree taking centre stage! The theme for its decoration this year is renewal.
The area around the Grand-Place lives to the rhythm of the festive season. Charles Kaisin's origami is exhibited in the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert.
The Tintin Boutique in celebration
Every shop is decorated, including our Tintin Boutique in Brussels! Just around the corner from the Grand Place, the Boutique has the pleasure of meeting visitors and welcoming its loyal customers in a warm atmosphere.
The Hergé Museum, even more magical
The atrium of the Hergé Museum is adorned with a magnificent Christmas tree. Decorating a tree unites all the family in a moment of love and appreciation, just like the Museum: a peaceful place that brings together all those who are passionate!
Needless to say, this year’s priority is the wellbeing of the people, but it is just as important to bring to others a spot of light, magic... and hope.
Wishing you and your family peace, health, happiness, and prosperity for the coming year. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
