A hardworking animal synonymous with strength, the Ox urges us to plan our actions in order to achieve our goals. Metal evokes rules and decisions. This year, we will have to show ardour and determination to bring to fruition the projects that are dear to our hearts. Finally, it will be a year that reflects the tenacity of our young reporter in his adventures...
His adventures that have led Tintin to the heart of the Celestial Empire in The Blue Lotus! An album which will be hailed for its realism, so much so that Hergé has soaked up Chinese culture.

He mainly documented himself with his friend Tchang Tchong-jen, who also inspired the character of Tchang in this same album.

This year, it will be difficult to celebrate the first day of the Chinese lunar calendar with your family or close friends as tradition dictates. Thus, most of the festivities where dragon dancing and fireworks explode are cancelled. But don't worry, the lucky red decorations are still welcome. Red is the ubiquitous colour of this festival and symbolises happiness and luck, which we wish you at the dawn of a lunar New Year.
