Screenings of the documentary film "Tintin Moonwalker" in 6 Chinese cities in March
To celebrate 20 years of Tintin in China, the documentary film Tintin Moonwalker had been screened in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xi'an, Wuhan and Shanghai.
Hergé sent his hero to the orb of night 16 years before Neil Armstrong. In the album Destination Moon in 1953 and Explorers on the Moon in 1954, Tintin is the first man to walk on the Moon.
To celebrate 20 years of Tintin in China, Wallonie-Bruxelles International has chosen to honour Hergé's hero by organising a Tintin cycle in partnership with Moulinsart, Les Alliances françaises and China Children's Press and Publication Group.
The documentary film Tintin Moonwalker had be screened in six Chinese cities during the month of March: Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xi'an, Wuhan and Shanghai.
This documentary film approaches the very actual theme of the conquest of space and shows, in the company of a lunar walker and other prestigious speakers, how Hergé was a forerunner for his time.
