Immortal colours
Andy Warhol immortalised Hergé in a very colourful way. Paradoxically, the symbolism of the work of Tintin's creator was in the line that had always taken precedence over the nuances. This is the originality of Hergé's work: the line is his true backbone. However, we cannot deny that Tintin, Captain Haddock, the two rascals Quick and Flupke, Totor, Jo, Zette and Jocko, and other characters from his series have brought colour to the lives of thousands of children from 7 to 77 years old. Forty years ago, on 3rd March 1983, this genius artist died at the age of 75. Thank you Hergé for having coloured our lives in this way.
