The return of a long standing dream?
More than 12 years after the release of The Secret of the Unicorn film, Tintin fans' anticipation has not waned. Many still hope to see the continuation of Tintin's adventures on the big screen. And today, that hope seems more alive than ever.
In a recent interview with The Washington Newsday, Peter Jackson discussed the reasons that kept him away from fiction cinema for more than a decade.
This long gap was marked by the death of his friend and cinematographer Andrew Lesnie. But now, the New Zealand director admits he is seriously considering getting back behind the camera.
And this return could very well involve... Tintin!
Producer of the 2011 film, directed by Steven Spielberg, Peter Jackson was originally supposed to direct the second installment. However, the project was postponed several times, notably due to the filming of The Hobbit trilogy.
