"Light of Truth"

To mark this anniversary, the team at the Brussels office of the NGO International Campaign for Tibet (ICT) had the pleasure of visiting the Hergé Museum to rediscover the artist’s sketches, iconic objects and many sources of inspiration.
For generations of readers around the world, Tintin in Tibet has served as a first glimpse into Tibet’s magnificent landscapes and rich culture. The comic book remains, even today, a timeless work, celebrated for its deeply human story and its values of friendship, loyalty and compassion.
Discover a selection of photographs taken at the Hergé Museum, as well as mementos from the “Light of Truth” Award ceremony, held in Brussels in June 2026, attended by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Fanny Rodwell, then President of the Hergé Foundation, and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
